ADL Student Essay Contest: A Tribute to Moral Courage: Standing Up Against Injustice

  • January 3, 2017

The Mountain States Regional Office of the Anti-Defamation League’s student essay contest A Tribute to Moral Courage: Standing Up Against Injustice continues for a seventh year, thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor who is underwriting the contest.

Using the Holocaust as a backdrop, all middle and high school students in Colorado and Wyoming are encouraged to submit essays of 750-1000 words that recognize ordinary individuals throughout history who acted extraordinarily, based on their personal beliefs or convictions often without regard to personal safety. The winning student essay authors will receive their awards at ADL’s 36th Annual Governor’s Holocaust Remembrance Program in Denver on April 25, 2017. The deadline to submit essays is Friday, March 10, 2017.
