ADL Condemns Explosion Outside Colorado Springs NAACP Office

  • January 8, 2015

Denver, CO, January 8, 2015…The Anti-Defamation League expressed deep concern about the detonation of a homemade explosive device Tuesday outside the Colorado Springs branch of the NAACP and condemned the incident, which the FBI is reportedly investigating as a possible act of domestic terrorism.

“We are outraged and deeply concerned about the explosion outside the Colorado Springs NAACP office and express our support for and solidarity with the NAACP and Mr. G’s Hair Design Studios that shares the building,” said Scott L. Levin, ADL Mountain States Regional Director. “Incidents like these have an impact far beyond the victims of the crime. We commend local and federal law enforcement authorities for acting swiftly and for investigating all possible motives for the incident, including investigating the incident as a potential act of domestic terrorism and/or a possible hate crime.”
