Reports of Hate Incidents Spike after Election

In the past month, the Anti-Defamation League recorded an increased number of reports of hate incidents and hate crimes. Incidents reported to the Mountain States regional office have included several instances of vandalism and anti-Semitic and racist graffiti to homes, cars, schools and businesses; offensive slurs and harassment against people of color, members of the LGBTQ community and Muslims wearing head coverings; and even an anti-immigrant display at a local club. ADL is in regular communication with local law enforcement and has responded to several individuals who have experienced such incidents.
