ADL Active Against Hate in Whitefish, Montana

  • January 23, 2017

20170107_122045-1_resizedAnti-Defamation League Mountain States Regional Director Scott L. Levin made two recent trips to Whitefish, Montana, as part of ADL’s involvement in supporting the community there following manifestations of hate spawned by white supremacists and Neo-Nazis over the past several weeks.  Several members of the “Alt-Right” made vicious on-line attacks against the Jewish community and their supporters, and threatened to march in town on Martin Luther King Day at an event they atrociously called, “The James Earl Ray Extravaganza,” in apparent homage to Dr. King’s murderer.

The Intermountain Jewish News covered the story in its January 20, 2017 edition. In the article, Levin noted:

When people try to divide our communities, we must redouble our efforts to stand in support of one another.
