The Anti-Defamation League Mountain States Region was  proud to support House Bill 1138, “Hate Crimes Reporting By Law Enforcement,” which was recently signed into law by Governor John W. Hickenlooper.  Scott L. Levin, ADL Mountain States Regional Director, was present at the bill signing together with Bill Sponsor Representative Joe Salazar,  Governor Hickenlooper, and others. We are especially thankful for the bi-partisan support of the Bill.

ADL is also pleased that Senate Bill 283, which would have allowed business owners to deny services to individuals for a very broad set of reasons, was defeated. Mr. Levin spoke at a press conference and committee hearing against the bill, which would have led to discrimination had it passed.
