DENVER, CO, September 19, 2014….. Responding to reports of anti-Semitic and anti-Israel graffiti found on the property of the Boulder Jewish Community Center, Scott L. Levin, ADL Mountain States Regional Director, issued the following statement:

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) condemns the hateful graffiti found at the Boulder Jewish Community Center, especially so close to Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. We commend the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office for quickly responding to the incident and investigating the vandalism. We also applaud the leadership at the Boulder JCC for taking swift action to ensure the safety of all who use the Center.  ADL will continue to work with law enforcement and Jewish institutions to help ensure the safety and security of the Jewish community, especially as it prepares to observe the Jewish High Holidays.

The Anti-Defamation League, founded in 1913, is the world’s leading organization fighting anti-Semitism through programs and services that counteract hatred, prejudice and bigotry.
