Anti-Defamation League Mountain States Regional Director Scott L. Levin spoke with reporters from Denver7 News about increased appearances of swastikas in the region, and shared statistics from the recent Audit of Anti-Semitic incidents.

When asked about reasons for the increase, Levin said it’s because some people have become more emboldened to act out on their prejudices. Levin further advises:

Call it out and really make it clear that that’s not the way we are in Colorado. We actually want to send the counter-message that people of all different sorts and types and identities are welcome in Colorado.
