Mountain States ADL is thrilled to announce that Lisa Soicher has joined the staff as the Director of Development.
Born and raised in Niagara Falls, NY, Lisa moved with her family to Denver 13 years ago and has held various leadership and volunteer positions at organizations including JEWISHcolorado (formerly Allied Jewish Federation), the Hebrew Education Alliance, Jewish Family Service, The Children’s Hospital and the African Community Center. Lisa is a graduate of the Wexner Heritage Program, which seeks to expand the vision of Jewish volunteer leaders, deepen their Jewish knowledge and confidence, and inspire them to exercise transformative leadership in the Jewish community.
When asked why she is excited about working for the Anti-Defamation League, Lisa replied:
“ADL’s mission and the work we do throughout the community are very important to me as a Jew and as a mother. The Jewish teaching that every person is created in God’s image and has a bit of the Divine in them helps to frame my actions and elevates my ethics. The values and beliefs that are important to me are exercised every day where prejudice and injustice are confronted with action and education. No organization does more than ADL to stand up to hatred, to support the vulnerable among us and to help create a world with more goodness, the type of world within which I want to live.”
Welcome aboard!
