ADL Building Holocaust Education Consortium in Wyoming

  • January 24, 2013

In partnership with Wyoming educators and Rabbi Harley Karz-Wagman of Temple Sinai in Cheyenne, ADL is working to expand Holocaust education in Wyoming.  ADL has provided training and resources to educators in Cheyenne, Laramie and Casper so that they can learn the history of anti-Semitism, listen to first-hand survivor testimonies and leave workshops better equipped to teach the Holocaust to their students. “If not for ADL Project Director Paula Brown, this would not be taking place here in Wyoming,” said Rabbi Karz-Wagman.

ADL’s Echoes and Reflections curriculum includes classroom ready materials- photographs, artwork, diary entries, government documents and other primary source materials help high school and middle school students build an authentic and complete portrait of the past.  For more information please contact the Mountain States office at 303-830-7177 or visit Echoes and Reflections – A Multimedia Curriculum on the Holocaust.
