ADL hosted a gathering of Latino and Jewish leaders on March 21 for a pre-Passover seder.  Participants used a Haggadah that highlighted our common experiences in a “nation of immigrants.”

The seder included traditional elements of telling the Passover story, songs and symbolic foods, and also featured excerpts of works by Cesar Chavez, Maya Angelou and others who wrote about themes of freedom and justice.

Participants shared their experiences and learned from each other, and increased their appreciation of our communities’ shared values and enriching diversity.
