It is with great sadness that ADL mourns the passing of U.S. District Court Judge Phillip S. Figa after his battle against cancer. Judge Figa was a former ADL Regional Board Chair, community leader, father and husband. He will posthumously receive ADL’s Distinguished Community Service Award at ADL’s 2008 Civil Rights Award Luncheon on February 4, 2008.
