Anti-Defamation League Regional Director Scott L. Levin was recently asked by Denverite what he’s learned from the past year. His op ed, “What I’ve learned by paying attention to the language used this year,” explores the relationship between respect, language, and interpersonal connections.

Levin explains:

Our country is comprised of people with different backgrounds and beliefs. I have learned that it is only through our respect for those differences that our country and its institutions can realize its full potential.
