Twenty-six professionals were accepted into the ADL Mountain States Region’s 2021 Robert B. Sturm Leadership Fellows Program, part of ADL’s national Glass Leadership Institute (GLI). The program began in January and will last through September. We are grateful to this year’s program chairs, Tamara Berkman and Laura Knaster, who are both Sturm Fellows alumnae and members of the ADL Mountain States Regional Board. The Sturm Fellows program is supported locally by a generous endowment from Robert B. Sturm.
The Sturm Fellows program will take place virtually in 2021 and will provide educational and social programming about the substantive issues of ADL’s work, giving participants the tools to become passionate civil rights leaders in their community. The program was created to involve people, ages approximately 25-45, who are committed to ADL’s mission “to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all.” A highlight of the program is the opportunity to attend ADL’s National Leadership Summit in May, joining participants from all over the country to learn from nationally renowned speakers and leaders.
