Andrew Feinstein, Elaine Gantz Berman and Dr. Stephen Berman Honored at ADL’s Ignite! Torch of Liberty Dinner

  • December 12, 2017

On November 29, over 500 people joined the Anti-Defamation League’s Mountain States Regional Office in the Seawell Ballroom at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts to honor Andrew Feinstein, Elaine Gantz Berman and Dr. Stephen Berman.  The theme of the evening- “Ignite!” – highlighted the role of the performing arts in social justice movements. Performances throughout the night inspired passion for social justice and challenged guests to action for humanity. Performers included spoken word artists Bobby LeFebre and Toluwanimi Obiwole; Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble; the East High School Angelaires choir; Opera Colorado and jazz musicians from Denver School of the Arts.  Scroll to the end of this article to see some photos from the event.

Proceeds from the dinner support the Anti-Defamation League’s regional programming and the work of ADL in Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico including fighting bigotry, racism and anti-Semitism; combating bias, bullying and hate through our No Place for Hate® Initiative; advocating for civil rights and religious freedom; training members of the law enforcement community; countering hate crimes; and responding to increasing numbers of discrimination complaints.
