On February 18, ADL presented its 2010 Civil Rights Awards to Artie Guerrero and Vincent Harding, at a reception attended by over 200 people.  Governor Bill Ritter, Jr., last year’s Civil Rights Award recipient, spoke at the event. Guerrero is an activist for people with disabilities, who has worked tirelessly to insure accessibility, acceptance and opportunities for people in wheelchairs. 

On November 19, more than 300 community members gathered at the 2009 Society of Fellows Donor Appreciation Luncheon to honor Marvin Levy with ADL’s Distinguished Community Service Award. On November 14, 175 young leaders, community members and ADL Regional Board members gathered for “American Dreamin’.”  The event, co-sponsored by ADL Outreach Network and the Civil Rights Committee offered this diverse group a chance to come together for an evening centered on both national and local immigration reform.
