The Anti-Defamation League Mountain States Region is delighted to announce the entertainers that will be performing at the Torch of Liberty Dinner Ignite! to be held on Wednesday, November 29th, at 6:00 pm in the Seawell Ballroom located at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. The event will honor Andrew Feinstein and Elaine Gantz Berman and Dr. Stephen Berman.

  The Anti-Defamation League Mountain States Region hosted a security seminar on Aug. 30 to help Jewish institutions prepare for the upcoming High Holy Day season. Nearly 40 representatives from 20 different Jewish institutions in the Denver-metro area participated in the training at BMH-BJ Synagogue in Denver. The Anti-Defamation League Mountain States Region provided training on the threats posed by white supremacists and anti-government adherents for several law enforcement and government agencies in August. Joanna Mendelson, Senior Investigative Researcher and Director of Special Projects for ADL’s Center on Extremism, conducted the trainings. Mendelson conducted a training on Aug. 23 for nearly 100 individuals on the “sovereign citizen”

  The Anti-Defamation League is pleased to welcome New Mexico back into the Mountain States Region.  The region now includes Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico.  New Mexico has been a standalone ADL region since 1989; before that, it was part of the Mountain States Region, based in Denver.  The Mountain States ADL staff is poised to deliver many different types

2017 marks the tenth year for the Anti-Defamation League Summer Associate Research Program in Denver, which provides law firm summer associates the opportunity to complete pro bono legal research projects on cutting edge civil rights issues while furthering ADL’s mission:  “to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all.” Seventeen summer associates
