ADL Regional Director Scott L. Levin praises woman who stands up to bigotry at Rifle supermarket

  • October 5, 2018

ADL Mountain States Regional Director Scott L. Levin spoke with KVDR Fox News for a story about a woman who stood up to hate at a Rifle, CO supermarket this week. The woman confronted another shopper who was yelling at Spanish-speaking shoppers in the store. The aggressor was later charged with two counts of bias-motivated harassment.

“It is absolutely comforting to see people will stand up for other people,” Scott Levin of the Anti-Defamation League said. “We need to make sure people understand Colorado is not a place that stands for hate but instead we’re going to be respected people,” Levin said. “We’re going to be acting with kindness.”
