ADL’s Inaugural ArtWorks™ Event Almost Here!

  • October 24, 2013

A short time remains until the premiere of ArtWorks ADL:  Justice, Advocacy & Art™, a Society of Fellows event.  The cocktail reception and silent art auction will take place on November 12, 2013.  Join us as ADL honors the terrific generations of dedication to civil rights by the Quiat family.  The silent auction will feature original works of art by nearly 40 of the region’s premiere artists.  The artists have created works inspired by ADL’s Centennial theme, Imagine a World Without Hate®.  Many of the artists have generously donated 100% of the proceeds of the sale of their art to benefit the programs and work of ADL in the Mountain States Region fighting bigotry, racism and anti-Semitism; combating bias, bullying and hate through our No Place for Hate® initiative; advocating for civil rights and religious freedom; training law enforcement about extremist groups; responding to hate crimes; and addressing complaints of discrimination.

Artists contributing works for the silent auction include Ellen Beller, Cyndi Bemel, Elizabeth Buhr, Ron Judish Gallery, Rozarii Lynch, Bobby Manning, Aliki McCain, Laura Merage, Toby Meyer, Essie Perlmutter, Jan Steinhauser, Michael Gadlin, and Sandra Kaplan.  Works of art can be viewed at www.adl.org/artworksdenver.

Members of ADL’s Society of Fellows (annual non-event minimum gift to ADL of $500) are invited to attend at no additional charge. Tickets for the event may also be purchased for $180.  Heavy hors d’oeuvres, wine, and beer will be served.  RSVP by November 4, 2013 by phone to 303-830-7177 x225 or by registering online at www.adl.org/artworksdenver.

Sponsorship opportunities and tributes are also available and encouraged. We are looking for individual, corporate, and foundation participation!  Special, unique opportunities exist for individuals, corporations and foundations who wish to sponsor ArtWorks.  For more information, to become a sponsor and/or to make a tribute, please call 303-830-7177 x225 or email ahakala@adl.org.
