The Anti-Defamation League remains a strong advocate for the House to pass comprehensive immigration reform. We thank you for your leadership in championing immigration reform that reflects the best of America’s founding ideals by combining border enforcement with a clear path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants already living in our communities.

This month, ADL cosponsored the October 5th National Day for Dignity and Respect, which brought together diverse communities from immigrant, faith, labor, and civil rights groups. On October 2nd, during the government shutdown, we were pleased to see that you joined with Representatives Nancy Pelosi, Joe Garcia, Judy Chu, Steven Horsford and Suzan DelBene in introducing H.R. 15, a comprehensive immigration reform bill that supports the need for reform now and keeps the immigration conversation a priority.

We all have family who once came to the United States seeking a better life, eager to become part of the American fabric. ADL applauds your work towards comprehensive immigration reform that will make the American dream a reality for the millions of individuals who are already part of our communities and contributing to American society.
