Denver, CO, November 19, 2014…Prominent Denver artists have volunteered their time and talents to produce works of art to be exhibited and auctioned at ArtWorks ADL, Presented by BNY Mellon Wealth Management on December 10. This interactive, hands on, creative cocktail reception and silent art auction will bring together Denver artists and those dedicated to ADL’s fight against anti-Semitism and bigotry of all kinds. ArtWorks will be held at EXDO Events Center in Denver. Art sale proceeds will go towards supporting ADL’s critical programs to combat hate.

Using their creative vision to “Create a World Without Hate,” over 40 local artists, including Errol Beauchamp, Ellen Beller, Lela Kay, Sandi Ogin, Essie Perlmutter and Dennis Pendleton, are contributing pieces in diverse mediums and styles. The fundraiser event will begin with a silent auction at 5:30 p.m. There will be gourmet hors d’oeuvres, drinks and entertainment throughout the evening. Additionally, Colorado muralist Max Frieder will be on-site, creating a large mural to fit the evening’s theme of “Create a World Without Hate.” Event guests will have the opportunity to participate in the mural creation.

ADL Board Members Susan Brody, Peggy Goldman, Tracy McCarthy, Melinda Quiat and Andrea Shpall are the Chairs of the event, which will honor ADL Regional Board Member and National Executive Committee Member David M. Ickovic. Denver artist Diane Burchett is the event’s art curator.
