TEAM UP AGAINST BULLYING at ADL’s No Place for Hate® Celebration Breakfast with Keynote Speaker Rosalind Wiseman!

  • February 12, 2018

Be part of ADL’s Mountain States Region’s No Place for Hate® Celebration Breakfast in Denver on Friday April 13, 2018 from 8-10 a.m. as we recognize the students, educators, volunteers and donors that are committed to safe and inclusive school communities. Be inspired by our keynote speaker, Rosalind Wiseman, a noted author and internationally acclaimed expert whose books include the best-seller that was the basis for the movie Mean Girls. Ms. Wiseman also partners with ADL, providing a monthly resource entitled Rosalind’s Classroom Conversations for teachers, parents, families and caregivers with features on bullying, current events and the social and emotional development of children. Ms. Wiseman will join ADL to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of No Place for Hate® and by the Colorado schools that have achieved their goals of being designated a 2017-2018 No Place for Hate® campus.

Tickets: www.adl.org/NPFHCelebration2018.

Rosalind Wiseman has had only one job since graduating from college—to help communities shift the way we think about children and teens’ emotional and physical well being. As a teacher, thought leader, author, and media spokesperson on bullying, ethical leadership, the use of social media and media literacy, she is in constant dialogue and collaboration with educators, parents, children and teens. Rosalind is the founder of Cultures of Dignity and is the author of the flexible, dynamic curriculum Owning Up: Empowering Adolescents to Confront Social Cruelty, Bullying, and Injustice. She is also the author of Queen Bees and Wannabes: Helping Your Daughter Survive Cliques, Gossip, Boyfriends, and the New Realities of Girl World—the groundbreaking, best-selling book that was the basis for the movie Mean Girls.

In addition, ADL’s Student Art Contest winners will be recognized for their meaningful pieces and a number of special guests will be joining us to TEAM UP AGAINST BULLYING – don’t miss the fun!

Tickets for this signature event are $50 for an individual ticket, and a buy one/give one option for $100, which provides you with an individual ticket and allows you to sponsor a guest from a Colorado No Place for Hate (NPFH) school to attend at no cost.
