Sophia Roseman is elated to be serving as an intern with ADL this Spring. She was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and moved to Colorado to attend Colorado State University. Sophia graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Criminal Justice in December 2021.

Sophia’s passion in life is ensuring everyone has equitable social and political rights, especially regarding race, gender, sexual orientation and identity, religion, and ability. During her undergraduate studies, she was particularly captivated by learning about mass incarceration, race issues, gender issues and intersectionality. Sophia is keenly interested in the legislative work ADL does and cannot wait to contribute.

Sophia hopes to continue her education by enrolling in law school in Colorado this coming year, with the goal of becoming a civil rights attorney, helping guarantee everyone’s right to a just legal defense. Sophia likes to stay busy, typically working at a local restaurant in Loveland. When she has free time, she enjoys reading a good horror novel, watching her favorite TV shows, or going outside to enjoy nature.
