The Mountain States office of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) will host its 33rd Annual Governor’s Holocaust Remembrance Program on May 1, 2014, from 6:00 – 7:30 PM in Denver, CO.

The 2014 featured speaker will be Thomas Buergenthal, a Holocaust survivor who went on to serve as the American Judge on the International Court of Justice and as a Judge and President of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. Judge Buergenthal has held a number of other distinguished posts in the legal world and is the author of A Lucky Child: A Memoir of Surviving Auschwitz as a Young Boy.

The program will begin with a candle-lighting ceremony memorializing Holocaust victims and honoring Holocaust survivors.  It has also traditionally featured a special ”Message to Colorado” from the Governor.

ADL is grateful to Board Members Dan Feiner, Andy Gurrentz and Michelle Reiff for chairing the program.  Please contact ADL at 303-830-7177 for free tickets and for more information.
