Love Has No Labels

Watch the new “Love Has No Labels” video!

At the Anti-Defamation League, we have always believed that “love has no labels.”  Our education programs are designed to help schools change culture and climate to make institutions safe and welcoming for everyone.  Our legislative and community advocacy seeks to make sure that each person – no matter how they worship, where they are from, what they look like or who they love – is treated equally under the law.

We are proud that Mountain States Regional Development Director and former ADL National Director of Training Beth Yohe is a member of the Love Has No Labels Advisory Council.  Love Has No Labels is a movement to open our eyes to unconscious bias. Many of us unintentionally make snap judgments about people based on what we see – whether it is race, age, gender, religion, sexuality, or disability. By becoming aware of our own biases, we can work to end bias in ourselves, our families, our friends, and our communities.

For years, “kiss cams” have been a big part of American sports culture. This year, Love Has No Labels put a twist on the kiss cam by turning it into a symbol for unbiased love. In the stadium, fans cheered for love in all its forms – regardless of race, gender, disability, age or religion.

Changing hearts and minds is difficult, but ADL has been doing it for 104 years. Join us in proclaiming loudly and proudly that LOVE WILL ALWAYS BE GREATER THAN HATE.
