Meet the Interns!

  • June 12, 2018

The Anti-Defamation League Mountain States Region would like to acknowledge and thank our three spring and summer interns who are dedicating their time, energy and creativity to assisting with ADL activities and projects.

Benjamin Cohen

Ben Cohen, ADL’s Spring 2018 intern, has just completed his first year at the University of Denver where he is a History and Psychology double major with a minor in Judaic Studies. He is considering a career in teaching or in law, like his father. A St. Louis native, he now enjoys living in Denver and exploring all there is to do in the Mile High City. In his senior year of high school, the St. Louis ADL office awarded Ben the Kranzberg Memorial Scholarship as a result of his advocacy work. The scholarship spurred him to volunteer in the Denver ADL office. “It means a lot to know that I am helping to make a difference even if it is in the smallest way,” Ben said. Outside of interning at ADL, you can find Ben in local coffee shops, visiting Denver’s parks, teaching religious school or at DU Hillel where he serves as Vice President.

Yehna Bendul

Yehna Bendul, an ADL summer intern, is a Colorado native and rising sophomore at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. where she is pursuing a double major in International Affairs and Philosophy in hopes of learning how to achieve social justice around the world. Yehna was recently elected to the board for the George Washington University parliamentary debate society and is an avid social activist. Yehna’s passion for human rights drew her to the ADL where she is eager to support the organization’s mission to “secure justice and fair treatment to all.” In her free time, you can find Yehna playing tennis, petting dogs or hiking.

Grace Glaser

Grace Glaser is excited to be a summer intern for ADL. She is originally from San Diego, CA and is a rising senior at the University of Denver (DU) where she is a double majoring in Criminology and Psychology with a minor in Judaic Studies. Grace is interested in a career in public service and plans to attend law school after she graduates from DU. She is the undergraduate student government off-campus Senator and in that capacity, represents the 2,500 DU students living off-campus. As an intern, Grace is excited to work on ADL’s No Place for Hate Initiative, and dive into other programming that works to promote inclusive and welcoming learning environments. In her free time, you can find Grace skiing, hiking, or cooking.
