  • August 9, 2016

Efraim ZuroffThe Anti-Defamation League Mountain States Region is pleased to celebrate its 75th anniversary at its Diamond Dinner on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 6:30pm at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.

The Mountain States Regional office was one of the first ADL regional offices in the country, beginning its fight against bigotry and hate in 1941 in the midst of World War II and the Holocaust.  So, it’s fitting that the dinner’s keynote speaker is Efraim Zuroff, Ph.D. As the Director of the Simon Wiesenthal Center’s Israel Office and Eastern European Affairs, as well as the coordinator of its international research on Nazi war crimes, Dr. Zuroff has played an important role in worldwide efforts to find and help bring Nazi war criminals to justice.  Featured in Newsweek’s July 7 cover story as the “Last Nazi Hunter,” his activities have been the subject of numerous television documentaries, films, articles and books. His keynote address featuring stories form his work will serve as a reminder of why the ADL Mountain States office opened 75 years ago and why the work to fight anti-Semitism and to “secure justice and fair treatment to all” is still so relevant and vitally important.

At this Diamond Celebration, ADL’s Distinguished Community Service Award will be presented to our honorees Michael and Shereen Pollak, CEO and President of Hyde Park Jewelers.  The event sponsors to date include Richmond American Homes, Barry and Gay Curtiss-Lusher, BNY Mellon Wealth Management, Dependable Cleaners, Gary and Connie Levine and MassMutual Colorado.  Visit www.adl.org/75thdinnerdenver  for sponsorship information and to reserve tickets.
